SRI College began its journey in 2004 as Smart Readers Institute, a specialist institution focused on Early Childhood Education, Care, and Development in Segambut. Our mission then was to raise the standard of early childhood educators in Malaysia and empower a new generation of caregivers and pres-school teachers. For over a decade, we trained passionate individuals who would go on to shape young minds across the country. But over time, we saw something bigger. We saw that education; when done right, could break cycles of poverty, elevate entire communities, and give every student a shot at success, no matter where they came from.
In 2021, SRI College entered a bold new phase under fresh leadership. The college was relocated to a strategic location at Parklane Commercial Centre, SS7 Petaling Jaya, positioning it closer to urban students and key industry hubs. This move marked more than just a change of address, it was the beginning of a total institutional reset.
New diploma programs were launched, existing ones upgraded, and collaborations established with industry partners and government departments to ensure real-world relevance. With this transformation, SRI began shifting from a traditional education provider into a career-focused, future-ready college, setting the stage for the next major leap forward in 2025.
In 2025, SRI College unveils a bold new vision to redefine itself as a future-facing institution driven by innovation, relevance, and impact. With a reimagined academic direction, a refreshed leadership team, and a mission rooted in access and excellence, SRI is no longer just a college, it is becoming a launchpad for students from all walks of life to rise, lead, and transform their futures.
We have introduced diploma programs in high-demand, high-impact fields such as Cybersecurity, Business, Aviation, Policing, Hajj and mana more. At the same time, we are investing in global certifications, digital tools, and real-industry collaborations to ensure our students are competitive not just locally, but regionally and globally. SRI is now more than an academic institution; it’s a platform for personal growth, professional mobility, and national progress
